Eligibility
To be considered for a CCJGF scholarship or grant of aid an applicant must:
1. Have completed your senior year in high school or at least one semester of college and have achieved a 2.5 or higher cumulative grade point average. CCJGF grants will only be finalized and
paid out with evidence of graduation from high school and enrollment in post secondary
education institution or transcript from a post secondary education institution.
2. Have outstanding personal character and confirmation of your participation in extracurricular high school activities. You must designate a contact person who can verify your participation inextracurricular activity. A telephone number is preferred, an address is acceptable.
3. Have a connection to golf, i.e.: played on your high school golf team, or play golf regularly, or work in the golf industry or volunteer at golf charity fund raisers or tournaments.

Selection of Recipients
The Board of Directors of the CCJGF will evaluate all applications that meet submission criteria. Finalists will be selected for final consideration and award of scholarships and or grants will be decided on or before July 31st for fall enrollment and January 31st for spring enrollment each calendar year. All applications will be judged on completeness of application and supporting information. Your letter is your opportunity to communicate with the Board of Directors and care should be taken to be sure you have presented yourself in the manner you intend. It is your opportunity to communicate directly with the Board of Directors and to make your case for support from the CCJGF. All finalists will be interviewed (telephone or in person) by a designee of the Board of Directors.
CCJGF Scholarships or Grants of Aid have no restriction on what post-secondary higher education institutions a applicant chooses to attend. All Universities, Academies, Colleges, Institutes of Technology including Vocational or other Career Colleges that award degrees or professional certification are eligible.
CCJGF Scholarships or Grants of Aid have no restriction on what field of study is pursued by applicants.
A desire to succeed, a track record of pursuing goals, a history demonstrating achievement and an indication that support from CCJGF will play a meaningful role in helping you attain your goals are all primary areas of consideration in determining finalists and the awarding of scholarships and grants in aid.
